Eribulin is a cancer medicine that works by stopping cancer cells from growing and spreading.

It is used in adults to treat locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer (breast cancer that has spread beyond the original tumour) when at least one other treatment has been tried but is no longer effective.

It is also used in adults to treat advanced or metastatic liposarcoma (a type of cancer that starts in fatty tissue) when previous treatment has been tried but is no longer effective.
